Servants' room

alcobacriadas

Someplace on the ground floor or in the gabled attic, the servants would have had their room. We know the name of one of the cooks, Lorenza Sánchez, who was appreciated for he stews, but not for her desserts, Catalina, who Lope called "the bad humored one," and Lucía Rodríguez. The room contains two simple bedsteads, an oil lamp, an etching, two stools and a straw mat.
